Kinesio Taping

This method is a rehabilitative technique in the field of functional taping and provides pain relief. It is based on principles from physiotherapy, kinesiology and osteopathy.
In this approach, a functional neuroreflectory mechanism is combined with mechanical control. Kinesio Taping accelerates the body’s natural healing process, while providing muscle and joint support and stability.

The method is used worldwide by physiotherapists, sports doctors and medical trainers. It was also widely used and on show at the Rio Olympics 2016.

Moving easier again

With injuries, chronic diseases and inflammation, taping creates increased pressure in the tissues and pain reflex changes in the fascia. Tape application will immediately reduce pain and provide more freedom of movement. The aim of the Kinesio Taping is to increase the freedom of movement so that the client is able exercise and function.

Acceleration of the recovery process

The lifting effect of Kinesio Tape encourages the drainage of edema, and creates pressure and pain relief in the tissues. This means reduction in injury healing time.

Benefits and application of Kinesio Taping

  • Improves muscle function
  • Improves blood circulation
  • Corrects Posture
  • Supports joint function

The tape remains on the body for about 7 days. The tape is moisture-resistant so showering is possible.
